How do beginners take pictures?
Photography is the art of recreating photos of people, things or locations in their exact similarity. These images can be transferred on any photosensitive product. Photography includes taking and printing pictures.
The foundation of photography is the electronic camera, the instrument or device that works on the principle of optics. The camera and photographic strategies have gone through sensational changes since the time the first video camera was made. The earlier design did not include the film; rather, it had a little light-shield box with lens and translucent screen on either side. The image that traveled through the lens was saved on the screen. Known as 'camera obscura,' it disappeared than a sketching gadget for artists.
Then the scientists discovered the quality of silver nitrate that changes its color when exposed to light. This was the beginning of photogram, a method of making long-term images.
They would position items on the paper dipped in silver nitrate and expose it to the sunlight. After at some point the area covered under the object stayed white while the remainder of the area turned black. However, the image formed was short-term, so the approach did not last long.
Over the centuries, the concepts, the method and the material utilized in photography went through many changes. After try out numerous techniques like Daguerre and calotype procedure, finally collodion, or the wet plate strategy was widely accepted.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Composition in the Field – 3 hours – $99
Each Composition in the Field photography class begins with a talk with one of our experienced instructors, and then you and your fellow students take a stroll through one of a variety of photogenic locales (in any of the 20+ cities the DPC encapsulates). There is street photography, magnificent interiors, farmers markets, zoos, landscapes, and more, photos of which are included within. These photos are a mix of student and instructor images in many different venues and cities across the United States and Canada.
You will have fun in the three hour session, learn to shoot strategically, get more interesting photos of the event, and walk away with a foundation to improve your photographs in the future, whether you’re traveling, or at a birthday party and everywhere in between.
Please note – if a class must be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control we will be happy to work with you to reschedule. If you should need to cancel and require a new class date, contact us. A $25 transfer fee will be imposed without a 3 day notice before the scheduled class.
