Photography is the art of reproducing pictures of individuals, items or locations in their exact similarity. These images can be transferred on any photosensitive material. Photography consists of taking and printing pictures.
The foundation of photography is the video camera, the instrument or device that deals with the concept of optics. The video camera and photographic techniques have undergone extraordinary changes considering that the time the first electronic camera was made. The earlier design did not consist of the movie; rather, it had a little light-shield box with lens and clear screen on either side. The image that took a trip through the lens was saved on the screen. Known as 'electronic camera obscura,' it disappeared than a sketching gadget for artists.
Then the scientists found the quality of silver nitrate that alters its color when exposed to light. This was the start of photogram, an approach of making permanent images.
They would put objects on the paper dipped in silver nitrate and expose it to the sunlight. After at some point the location covered under the things stayed white while the rest of the space turned black. However, the image formed was short-lived, so the approach did not last long.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Composition in the Field – 3 hours – $99
Each Composition in the Field photography class begins with a talk with one of our experienced instructors, and then you and your fellow students take a stroll through one of a variety of photogenic locales (in any of the 20+ cities the DPC encapsulates). There is street photography, magnificent interiors, farmers markets, zoos, landscapes, and more, photos of which are included within. These photos are a mix of student and instructor images in many different venues and cities across the United States and Canada.
You will have fun in the three hour session, learn to shoot strategically, get more interesting photos of the event, and walk away with a foundation to improve your photographs in the future, whether you’re traveling, or at a birthday party and everywhere in between.
Please note – if a class must be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control we will be happy to work with you to reschedule. If you should need to cancel and require a new class date, contact us. A $25 transfer fee will be imposed without a 3 day notice before the scheduled class.
